Past Grant Recipients Testimonials
The Waukee Public Library is a vital part of the city. It serves as a gathering place for the community and we are dedicated to promoting the free exchange of ideas. The grant funds from the Dallas County Foundation and Grow Greene County Gaming allowed us to provide a wider variety of programming for youth and teens. Our goal was to provide events utilizing technology and music. With these grant funds we were able to purchase the new equipment to make this happen. Our patrons continue to express their appreciation to DCF/GGC Foundations for these improvements.
Kristine Larson ~ Waukee Public Library
I truly appreciated the grant funds provided to the Perry Elementary School.
The art room had little storage and no safe space for my students to dry or store their projects.
With the grant funds we were able to purchase cabinets for our art projects. My students felt that this made the room feel much larger. I would like to continue the process of updating our room with the assistance of Dallas County Foundation. Now that I have experience writing the grant I feel more comfortable and will submit another.
